All COEEA members are invited to gather and celebrate the spring equinox at our first picnic event of the year!
Enjoy each other's company and some light refreshments in the great outdoors at Mansfield Hollow State Park on Saturday, March 22nd at 1:30pm. Perhaps we'll even take a short stroll along one of the many lovely trails.
Getting There: In Google Maps, the park entrance is labeled as Mansfield Hollow Lake Recreation Area (also see the detailed driving directions at the end).
Parking: Park in the gravel lot on the north side of Bassett's Bridge Road. This Google Map Location should get you there. If the lot is full, there is additional parking on the south side of the road heading west toward Mansfield center.
Carpool: Available from the Mansfield Center southbound bus stop. Email Evelyn Kubik (evelyn@coeea.org) to coordinate.
Meet-up Spot: We'll gather in the picnic area under the pine trees. See the map screenshot below and this park map for details.
Other Info: Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. Heavy precipitation (rain/snow) will postpone the event.
No need to register in advance - simply show up if you're in the area and looking to connect outside for a couple of hours. Live too far away or have other plans that day? No worries! Stay tuned for more picnics at different locations over the next few months.
