The Connecticut Trails Program at UConn

The Connecticut Trails Program at UConn acknowledge that the land on which we recreate is the territory of the Mohegan, Mashantucket Pequot, Eastern Pequot, Schaghticoke, Golden Hill Paugussett, Nipmuc, and Lenape Peoples, who have stewarded this land throughout the generations. The CT Trail Census, CT Trail Finder, and Active Living (PATHS) highlights the state's bounty of natural and physical amenities - greenways, multi-use paths, parks, and forested area are some of the state’s greatest assets for encouraging physical activity.
