In an effort to continually improve COEEA, we are excited to share the following:

(1) COEEA is pleased to have received grant funding for an Executive Director for 2020 (contractual opportunity for 20 paid work hours per month). We have been incredibly grateful that Abby Peklo, COEEA Past President, has been serving as our Interim Executive Director. If you are interested in learning more about this position, please contact me at president@coeea.org.

(2) COEEA is embarking on a Strategic Planning Process, under the guidance of an outside consultant. This process will help us continue to build the organization’s capacity to deliver the services that best support EE professionals throughout the state. Our main goals are to revise and improve our digital presence, and create a Financial Development Plan to increase organizational and collaborative funding opportunities. Stay tuned for exciting news on our Strategic Planning Process, as we will keep our members informed along the way!
Don’t forget to renew your COEEA membership if you haven’t already (deadline was 1/15)! And, stay tuned for announcements regarding our Annual Conference on March 16th in Storrs, CT, in collaboration with Connecticut Conference on Natural Resources!

Best wishes for wonderful start to 2020!

Cheers,

Bill Flynn, COEEA President
