Do you know an educator that has found creative ways to engage learners in environmental education during the COVID-19 pandemic? A classroom teacher that has embraced technology to bring outdoor learning to students during virtual or hybrid learning? An organization that has found innovative solutions to providing programming to families while maintaining social distancing and other safety protocols? A community member or group that has advocated for environmental justice and inspired change in others? Now is your chance to recognize their hard work and dedication by nominating them (or yourself!) for a 2021 COEEA Award in one of the following categories:

  • Environmental Educator of the Year

  • Outstanding Organization of the Year

  • Excellence in Environmental Stewardship

Award descriptions and the nomination form can be found here: 2021 COEEA Awards Nomination Form All materials are due by March 1st. Nominations will be reviewed and ranked by the Awards Committee of the COEEA board. All nominators will be notified immediately following final selection.
